Mühlviertler Mund.Art at its best. Creativity meets down-to-earthness. This is our restaurant in the Mühlviertel, which was previously also known as ‘CULINARIAT’. Awarded three toques, under the direction of our host & award-winning chef Thomas Hofer. For us and our hosts, real enjoyment means: respect for nature, appreciation for people, animals & plants, biodiversity, natural growth, time, love & inspiration!
We think that sounds like great pleasure cinema. But not like in a film, but in real life, so to speak. And above all: with real protagonists. Because when it comes to ‘authenticity’, we make no compromises.
Summarised: We open our 3-toque restaurant in the Mühlviertel not ‘only’ for hotel guests, but also for locals & travelling connoisseurs! We just like variety. Besides, it would be a shame if you, with no time for an overnight stay, couldn't enjoy our specialities. :-)

By the way...
Many stories of enjoyment and hospitality have been written within our BERGERGUT walls! The construction of our walls dates back to the 17th century, when we were still an agricultural estate and a weaving mill. In our parlour we can still tell you a little about it... And the fact that we are now also one of the best award-winning restaurants in Upper Austria makes us proud. We combine cosiness with the highest quality standards, tradition and history with fresh ideas and great attention to detail.
In our Stube, locals, travelers, tavern guests, and hotel guests all come together. That makes us very happy — and it’s been that way for many decades now...
